A forum member at XDA-Developers, a website frequented by Android
enthusiasts and geeks, has leaked some images of what he claims is LG's
upcoming G4 phone. The phone these images show looks similar to the LG
G3, but with some minor differences.
Engadget reported that an XDA
Developer user called "s3rv1cet3ch" posted a folder of images on the
forum, explicitly calling it the G4. "The user also noted that it has
stylus on the top left corner, but if this is the Korean version of the
device that could very well be a TV antenna. After all, G3's Korean
version has an antenna you can pull out on that exact spot," said the
report.
The leaked pictures suggest that this device features a
square camera opening and a rectangular power button. The photos of its
interface also indicate that it's loaded with Android Lollipop out of
the box.
According to another website Yonhap News the G4 is
supposed to have a curved, 5-inch QuadHD display, besides having a
Snapdragon 810 processor.
The G4, whenever it launches, will be
the flagship Android phone from LG, succeeding the G3 that was launched
last year. The phone is likely to pack in top-notch hardware. It will
compete against the phones like the Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9, the
iPhone 6 and upcoming flagship phone from Sony.
