Now android users will be able to identify any number on
their smartphone without opening the Truecaller app for this. Yes, Truecaller
for Android has received a new update that enables users to identify the
unknown mobile number without opening the app.
The new update has a feature called "Auto-Search"
that lets the Android app users to identify an unknown number by just copying
it and the next associated details will then be automatically searched for. The
user will get a notification. However, the company has not said when the auto
search feature will be available to Apple users.
The company said that Android users can 'auto-search' for an unknown number seen on a website, mail
or even message by just copying the number.
Truecaller announced the new update through its blog,
"Identifying a number has never been so fast, and frictionless. Android
users now can be browsing anywhere on their phone, copy a phone number, and
Truecaller will instantly try to identify the number and give easy access to
calling or texting," It said.
The updated Truecaller app for Android is available for the
download. The new update also brings some other new features like Nepalese
language support, bug fixes and general speed improvements.
