Micromax sells 30,000 units of Yu Yureka in 7 seconds on Amazon

 

Home grown manufacturer Micromax sold 30,000 units of its Yu Yureka smartphone in just 7 seconds via Amazon India on Thursday. The device was up for grabs via flash sales method starting at 2PM IST for registered users. This was the eighth flash sale conducted by Micromax-Amazon of the Yu Yureka.
Micromax took to its official @YUplaygod twitter handle to make the formal announcement.

This was only the second time that the company put up 30,000 units for sale. The last flash sale saw the same number go out of stock in just 6 seconds.
The Micromax Yu Yureka has been priced in India at Rs.8,999 and comes with a pretty neat specifications set for its price bracket. The device features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixels IPS resolution. It comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protective coating.
The Yu Yureka is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device runs Cyanogen OS 11 OS that is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. It is backed by a 2500mAh Li-Po battery.
The Yu Yureka smartphone supports Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity.
