As the dust settles around the Apple Watch and the new MacBook, there are now reports that suggest that the next iPhone could use technologies heralded in the new MacBook and the Apple Watch.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the next iPhone, which is expected to be launched in September could have the 'force touch' technology that the Apple Watch and the new MacBook have.

Force Touch adds sensors below the touchscreen that detect the sensitivity of a touch input. These pressure sensitive sensors also have provisions for haptic feedback, which Apple calls the Taptic engine.

Notably, with the addition of force touch technology on the new MacBook track pad, Apple has eliminated the right click and now contextual menus only pop up with different degrees of pressure on a tap.

Many believe, this technology could have new types of applications specially on a device like the iPhone. Already, there are music applications, which allows the user to play the piano. As the keys on the piano are pressure sensitive, reports suggest that force touch could enable a better simulation of the piano on apps like Garage Band.

The report also claims that Apple is not planning any changes to the screen resolution of the iPhone. The screen sizes are also expected to stay the same at 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches.

Lastly, reports in the supply chain suggest that Apple is working on a pink version of the iPhone. Currently, the iPhone is only offered in champagne gold, silver and space grey.

                                                         Thank You.....
